We specialize in endocrine diseases such as:

Due to the small number of practicing endocrinologists in the area and the large patient need, we appreciate your patience in scheduling non-urgent appointments at least 3 months in advance with Dr. Westhoff, or you can see one of our experienced nurse practitioners much sooner.
For urgent appointments, we work with the referring doctor to meet their expedited needs. All patients must have a primary care doctor who has run the appropriate screening tests required to ensure a referral to an endocrinologist is appropriate.
Loma Vista Endocrinology practices evidence-based medicine. We do not prescribe, endorse, or sell homeopathic treatments, herbs, or compounded hormones that are not FDA approved. We do require a doctor's referral and medical records prior to scheduling an initial appointment.

We accept Medicare and almost all commercial PPO and HMO insurance plans. HMO plans do require authorization prior to scheduling an initial appointment per HMO guidelines.
We regret we are not currently contracted with Medi-Cal (Gold Coast HMO)
